Does the Freemen appointment indicate the direction the Obama administration will take toward Israel?

Everyone with any concern about Israel should read this posting at the Weekly Standard Blog about the appointment of Charles W. Freeman, Jr. as the Chairman of the National Intelligence Council (NIC).

While this should surprise no one in view of the people Obama befriended over the years, most undoubtedly convinced themselves that he would be more balanced in his appointments. One can only hope that this does not represent the direction his administration will take in the Middle East.
