Democrats offer business as usual - massive spending for their constituencies.

President Obama and the Democrats preach a pending apocalypse if radical changes aren't made immediately. Yet their offered solution to the coming apocalypse is nothing but business as usual from Congressional Democrats - massive spending for their constituencies and pet projects.

In responding to the gravest threat since the Great Depression, the Democrats simply dusted off their spending wish list and put it forward as the salvation for the economy. If their massive spending programs didn't keep the economy afloat to this point, why would even more of their programs save the economy now?

Rather than conducting business as usual, the Democrats should first ask real economists what would best help bring us out of the recession. The Congressional Budget Office seems to be saying that the Democrats' proposals are a net detriment to the economy rather than a benefit.
