Saudi King Abdullah warned Israel that the Arab peace offer would not remain on the table forever. One wonders how real the "peace offer" is. Hamas continues to work for the ultimate destruction of Israel. Even the "moderates" in Fatah give no indication of a willingness to accept the existence of Israel.
Does the Arab peace offer accept the existence of Israel for the long term or is it simply yet another temporary truce to allow Hamas to rebuild and rearm for yet another war against Israel?
The King makes the emotional claim that "one drop of Palestinian blood" is more valuable than all the money in the world. Why hasn't he allowed Palestinians to immigrate to Saudi Arabia and become citizens of his country? His actions belie his words.
He indicates a willingness to provide $1 billion to rebuild the Gaza Strip. One wonders how much of this money will go to rebuilding and how much to buying more rockets and weapons to use against Israel.
